    The 2013 USILA Division III All-America selections were announced today and three Washington College student-athletes made the list - senior attackman Bennett Cord, sophomore midfielder and face-off specialist Michael Trapp, and junior midfielder Hunter Nowicki. Cord was also chosen to play on the South Team in the USILA/LAXWORLD Division III North-South Senior All-Star Game.

    After playing from behind for more than three quarters, fourth-ranked host Stevenson scored six of the seven fourth-quarter goals en route to a 17-13 win over 11th-ranked Washington College in an NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament second-round game tonight at Mustang Stadium. The Mustangs, who improved to 19-2 with the win, move on the NCAA Quarterfinals, while the Shoremen finish their season at 13-5.

    Eleventh-ranked host Washington College built an 8-2 second-quarter lead and withstood a strong second-half effort from visiting Colorado College en route to a 10-7 victory in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament this afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The Shoremen, who will play the winner of tonight's first round game between Stevenson University and Christopher Newport University in a second-round game on Saturday, improved to 13-4 with the win. The Tigers end their season at 13-5.

    Sophomore midfielder Michael Trapp went 18-for-21 on face-offs, scooped up a game-high 12 ground balls, and scored a goal to lead visiting 10th-ranked Washington College past host Swarthmore, 16-5, in a Centennial Conference men's lacrosse game tonight on Clothier FIeld. The Shoremen, who finish the regular season 12-3 overall and 6-3 in conference play, clinched a spot in the upcoming four-team Centennial Conference Tournament with the victory. Swarthmore dropped to 4-11 and 1-7 with the loss.
