Barbieri Named 2016 USILA Scholar All-American

PERRY, N.Y. — Washington College rising junior Tanner Barbieri (Wayne, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) has been named a 2016 Scholar All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). 

The USILA Scholar All-America program recognizes student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities.

Barbieri, an attackman, was named to the All-Centennial Conference second team after a sophomore season during which he led the Shoremen in goals (30), assists (17), and total points (47). He was also second on the team in ground balls (33). His eight extra-man goals led the Centennial Conference. An Economics major, he was also named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.
