LANCASTER, Pa. — Four student-athletes from the Washington College softball team have qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for spring sports. Among those four is sophomore Maddie Bennett (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron), who was also named Academic All-Centennial based on her combination of qualifying for the Academic Honor Roll and her selection to the All-Centennial Conference second team. In order to qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.

Juniors Gabrielle Edwards (New Castle, Del./St. Georges Technical) and Milly Kawabata (Kirkland, Wash./Juanita) qualified for the Academic Honor Roll for the second year in a row. Bennett and fellow sophomore Kerrigan Buck (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) qualified in their first year of eligibility.

Edwards is majoring in Biology, Kawabata in Psychology, and Buck in Environmental Studies. Bennett is a double major in International Studies and Spanish.
