BOSTON, Mass. — The Washington College men's rowing team's first varsity eight placed 25th of 41 boats in the men's collegiate eights today at the Head of the Charles in Boston.

How It Happened
- The Shoremen completed the course in 16:21.683, finishing between 24th-place Minnesota (16:21.328) and 26th-place Bucknell (16:24.241).
- The Bucknell boat was one of 10 crews from Division I schools to complete the race with slower times than the Shoremen's.
- Hobart won the race in 15:32.704, out-pacing second-place Delaware (15:37.273) by more than four and one-half seconds. Williams was third in 15:38.892.
