Solomon Named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Washington College sophomore goalie Haylee Solomon (Wantagh, N.Y./Sanford H. Calhoun) has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse for the week ending March 15th. Solomon went 2-0 between the pipes for the Shorewomen during their Spring Break trip to Florida last week.

Solomon posted a 5.35 goals-against average and a .588 save percentage on the week. She made a career-best 10 saves in a 14-7 win over Roger Williams one week ago today and did not allow a goal in 18:30 of action in the Shorewomen's 17-0 shutout of Rhode Island College two days later.

This marks the first conference honor for Solomon.
