    Washington College seniors Kelsie Jensen and Kendall Mulligan have earned All Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) varsity honors, while freshman Kelly Bird was named to the All-MARC novice team. Jensen and Mulligan were also among the six Shorewomen to earn MARC Academic All-Conference honors.

    The ninth-ranked Washington College women's rowing team finished second overall at the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Championships today at Gifford Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry, PA. The Shorewomen finished with a total of 32 points in the two scoring events - the varsity eight and second varsity eight.

    The varsity eight of the 11th-ranked Washington College women's rowing team rowed against fifth-ranked Trinity (CT) and New Hampshire, a club program from a Division I school, this morning in Worcester, MA. The Shorewomen finished third in the race. Trinity won while New Hampshire was second.

    The Washington College men's and women's rowing teams joined together to enter the "Let's Can Hunger" effort, sponsored by the school's Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Club. The rowers donated more food than any other student organization at 300 pounds of food.
